CWENSI‘s Carolyn Compton has launched a new program to help train neighbors to recognize potential safety issues in their neighborhoods.  The initiative is called Dog Walker Watch and is aimed at dog owners, runners and walkers educating them on how to be mindfully observant while going about daily tasks in the neighborhood.  The program follows a model from the National Night Out Organization.

CWENSI will host two training sessions open to all members of the community.  The first session will be held at Urban Chestnut Brewing Co., 4465 Manchester Ave. at 6pm, on July 28th   The second session will be held at the International Tap House at 16 South Euclid Ave. at 6pm, on August 11th.

All residents can attend either event.  Both sessions will offer identical training.
