Forest Park Southeast Meeting Minutes

In this month's meeting we hear crime updates, get updates throughout the ward and city, and hear about the news and events happening in the neighborhood.

In this month's meeting we hear from special guest and President of the Board of Aldermen, Megan Green.

In this meeting we hear from Officer Walker on nuisance properties, Alderman Browning on the recent tornado that hit the city, and from special guest Shawn Ordway (Interim Assessor with the City of St. Louis) on 2025 property reassessments. 

In this meeting we hear from Officer Walker, 9th Ward Legislative Assistant Kaitlyn Smith, and various updates and events happening around the neighborhood.

In this meeting we hear from Alderman Browning with a reminder to vote in the General Election in April, to report issues to the CSB and get an update that Spire has wrapped up work on Chouteau and that the construction on townhouses on Tower Grove and Vista has started. We also hear from Ron Coleman on reminder about bulk pick-up, to attend the SLMPD Citizen Academy, and the upcoming Electronics Recycling event. Upcoming events include the the FPSENA's monthly litter clean-up, tree care event opportunities, a Spring Picnic at Chouteau Park, and neighborhood flower planting.

In this month's meeting we hear updates on the proposed combined bill for the Rams Settlement money, hear about a new Winter Help resources to volunteer and ask assistance for snow and ice removal, and learn about a few resources to get crime updates.

In this meeting we heard about the history of housing in FPSE and Kingshighway site, and heard from NorthPoint Development on their proposal for apartments in the neighborhood.

This month's meeting includes elections for the 2024 Board, a preview of "Townhomes on Tower Grove" - 28-unit townhome project at the corner of Vista and Tower Grove, Tre Prothro presenting City updates and resources, and PSAs on opportunities to provide feedback to shape our City's future: MoDOT's Manchester/Chouteau Safety Improvement public meeting, SLUP survey, and Rams Settlement Money prioritization.

In this meeting we hear from Parker Loveless for Ward 9 Committeeman, Alfred Montgomery for City Sheriff, Adam Layne on parking in the neighborhood, Alderman Browning on recent board bills, Ron Coleman on recent neighborhood happenings, Officer Walker on crime, and events and ways to get involved in the neighborhood.

In this meeting we heard updates on the Tower Grove Connector Phase 2 plans and heard from Alderman Browning, Neighborhood Improvement Specialist Ron Coleman, and shared updates on upcoming events and the Community Open House for NorthPoint's apartments.
